Softball Game Preview: The Pingry School Big Blue vs. Franklin Warriors

For the second straight game, The Pingry School will face off against Franklin. The Big Blue are headed away from home for the first time to challenge the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

The Pingry School is headed out to face Franklin after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Big Blue walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Warriors on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Big Blue in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

For Franklin's part, Vicky Gabryszewski was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing five bases while going 3-for-4. Casey G was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

The Pingry School beat Franklin 10-5 in their previous matchup on Tuesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Big Blue since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
