Basketball Game Preview: Lanier Longhorns vs. Seckinger Jaguars

The Lanier Longhorns will face off against the Seckinger Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lanier has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 186 points over their last three matchups.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Seckinger, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Johns Creek on Tuesday, sneaking past 53-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jaguars have posted since December 8, 2023.

Seckinger pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Lanier, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
