Softball Game Preview: Royal Oak Ravens vs. Farmington Falcons

The Royal Oak Ravens will square off against the Farmington Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Thursday, Royal Oak narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Notre Dame Prep 14-12. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Ravens.

Meanwhile, Farmington has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They and University Liggett finished up on equal footing with a 10-10 tie.

With that draw, Farmington's record moves to 19-3-1. As for Royal Oak, their win bumped their record up to 16-8-2.

Royal Oak might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Farmington when the teams last played back in April of 2018. Can the Ravens avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
