Meigs lost to Belpre back in December of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Meigs Marauders claimed a resounding 86-57 victory over the Belpre Golden Eagles. The Marauders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 29 points or more this season.

Meigs' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31 points. As for Belpre, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-1 record.

Meigs will finish 2024 at home by hosting Jackson at 2:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Belpre, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Caldwell at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Belpre knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Caldwell likes a good challenge.
