Volleyball Recap: Center Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Oakmont Vikings, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 25-10.

Leah Roberts paced Center's offense, picking up three kills. Roberts got some help from Renee Bermejo and her four assists. Finally, Isabella Kossov kept Center's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Center's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Oakmont, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Center will square off against rival Marysville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Oakmont is set to challenge their familiar foe Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
