Soccer Game Preview: St. Mary's vs. Granada

The St. Mary's Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Granada Matadors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, St. Mary's narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Venture Academy 2-1.

Janluca Tejeda and Ethan Huerta scored both of St. Mary's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Granada entered their tilt with Tracy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bulldogs 5-2. The matchup marked the Matadors' most dominant win of the season so far.

Granada's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for St. Mary's, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.
