King's Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Aptos Mariners, posting a 73-36 win. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

The victory was the eighth in a row for King's Academy, bringing their record for this year to 25-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points over those games. As for Aptos, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-6.

Coming up, King's Academy will challenge Carlmont at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. King's Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Aptos does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
