The matchup between Westwood and Whittell on Saturday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Westwood Lumberjacks blew past the Whittell Warriors 75-31. Winning may never get old, but the Lumberjacks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Westwood now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Whittell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.

Westwood will take on Providence in a holiday battle at on Tuesday. Westwood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Providence likes a good challenge. As for Whittell, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mineral County at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
