The Manning Monarchs had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were the victim of a tough 9-2 defeat at the hands of Timberland on Monday. Manning was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 6-1.
Maria Fleitas - Carmona and
Jacqueline Perez did their best for Manning and scored both of Manning's goals.
Timberland's win bumped their record up to 1-3.
Manning will be playing at home against Lakewood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Timberland, they will head out on the road to take on Bethune-Bowman at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
