Klein came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Magnolia Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-8 on Tuesday.

Corey Wilson and Price Rea did most of the damage at the plate: Wilson went 3-for-5 with three RBI and two runs, while Rea went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI Rea has posted since back in February. Grant Stratta was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Klein kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 10.6.

Klein's win bumped their record up to 12-18-1. As for Magnolia, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-14-2.

As of now, neither Klein nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
