Soccer Recap: Bellevue Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bellevue can now relate to. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Shorewood Stormrays who were credited with the win on Saturday. The Shorewood Stormrays got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to the Bellevue Wolverines' six. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Bellevue's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bellevue dropped their record down to 13-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Shorewood, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-2-1.

Bellevue does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shorewood, they will face off against Ingraham at 2:15 p.m. on Friday.
