Softball Preview: West Liberty-Salem Tigers vs. Triad Cardinals
For the second straight game, West Liberty-Salem will face off against Triad. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
It was a proper cat-fight when West Liberty-Salem duked it out with Triad on Monday. The Tigers came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 6-2.
Kennedy Wallace made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
