Basketball Recap: Highlands Takes a Loss

Highlands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 65-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chisholm Trail Academy Blazers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Chisholm Trail Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 84-47 back in January.

Highlands' loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Chisholm Trail Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

Highlands does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chisholm Trail Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Covenant Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Covenant Classical is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.1 points per game this season.
