Basketball Recap: Lyman Takes a Loss

Lyman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 38-18 to the Trinity Prep Saints. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-23 back in November of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Lyman saw an underclassman step up: freshman Samara Oldham posted 12 points.

Lyman's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Trinity Prep, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

Lyman won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Deltona at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trinity Prep, they will be playing at home against Lake Highland Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
