Basketball Recap: Trezevant Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Trezevant extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Monday, dropping them down to 0-3. They came up short against the Harding Academy Lions, falling 40-16. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-21 on Friday.

As for Harding Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.3 points on average this season.

Brynne Miller was a one-woman wrecking crew as she almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine steals. Miller is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nuri Muhammad, who shot 71% from the field on her way to 10 points and eight boards.

Looking ahead, Trezevant and Marion will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Harding Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Millington Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
