Basketball Game Preview: West Valley Rams vs. Sunnyside Grizzlies

West Valley and Sunnyside are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The West Valley Rams will be playing at home against the Sunnyside Grizzlies at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Saturday, West Valley ended up a good deal behind Davis and lost 62-45. The Rams have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sunnyside). They took down Wenatchee 70-52 on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Grizzlies as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Sunnyside's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-12. As for West Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

Everything came up roses for West Valley against Sunnyside in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 52-21 victory. Will West Valley repeat their success, or does Sunnyside have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
