Soccer Recap: GREEN Upstate Takes a Loss

If GREEN Upstate was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Mountain View Prep last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The GREEN Upstate Owls fell just short of the Greenville H Hurricanes by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Owls in their meetings with the Hurricanes: they've now lost three in a row.

GREEN Upstate's goal came courtesy of Nery Castillo, who's now up to two this season.

GREEN Upstate's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Greenville H, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

GREEN Upstate has already played their next game, a 14-0 victory against McCormick on the 11th. Greenville H will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Greer at 7:00 p.m. on March 24th.
