            Wilkinson County is 9-1 against Twiggs County since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Warriors will head out to  challenge the Cobras  at 7:30  p.m. Twiggs County took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Wilkinson County, who comes in off a win.
Wilkinson County will roll into the  matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up seven  points  on October 10th, then bounced right back against Georgia Military College  on Friday. The Warriors simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bulldogs 34-6. The  win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

 Wilkinson County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Quenterrion Stanford and  Daverie Walker. Walker has been hot recently, having also posted six or more  total tackles the last three times he's  played.
 Meanwhile, Twiggs County was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They came up short against  Hancock Central, falling  36-16.
 Twiggs County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Wilkinson County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
 Everything came up roses for Wilkinson County against Twiggs County in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024, as the  team secured  a  40-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
