Basketball Game Preview: PikeView Panthers vs. Greenbrier East Spartans

PikeView is 0-4 against Greenbrier East since January of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The PikeView Panthers will head out to take on the Greenbrier East Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when PikeView faced off against Summers County on Wednesday. PikeView strolled past Summers County with points to spare, taking the game 54-39.

Meanwhile, Greenbrier East put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 56-42 win over Chapmanville Regional.

The victory got PikeView back to even at 2-2. As for Greenbrier East, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

PikeView came up short against Greenbrier East in their previous matchup back in January of 2019, falling 84-73. Can PikeView avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
