Soccer Recap: Johnstown Christian Takes a Loss

The matchup between Johnstown Christian and Belleville Mennonite on Monday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Bluejays came up short against the Thunder, falling 8-0. Johnstown Christian have struggled against Belleville Mennonite recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Johnstown Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Belleville Mennonite, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnstown Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Columbia County Christian at 1:30 p.m. on October 11. As for Belleville Mennonite, they will take on Grace Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
