Softball Recap: Coastal Christian's Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over

Coastal Christian fell victim to Nipomo and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Titans, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty 23 runs in the game before, the Conquerors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

With the loss, Coastal Christian broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2. As for Nipomo, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coastal Christian will venture away from home to square off against Coast Union at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nipomo, they will head out to challenge Morro Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans are facing the Pirates at the right time seeing as the Pirates are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
