Baseball Recap: Wayland Comes Up Short

Wayland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 6-1 to the Acton-Boxborough Revolution. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Revolution earlier this season, when they won 8-4.

Wayland's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Acton-Boxborough, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wayland will take on rival Cambridge Rindge & Latin at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Acton-Boxborough is set to challenge their familiar foe Weston at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
