Baseball Recap: Lanesville Triumphs

Lanesville's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Corydon Central Panthers. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 7-3 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Bo Kahl was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of CJ Wiseman, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Lanesville's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Corydon Central, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.

Coming up, Lanesville will face off against Clarksville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Corydon Central, they will take on North Harrison at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
