 Clairemont came into Friday's   game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Mission Bay Buccaneers on Friday by a score of  1-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). This was a revenge  match for Clairemont, as the team was forced to settle for  a  1-0 defeat when these two played  last Wednesday.
 Not much got past  Christian Garcia, who gave up just  three  hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Mission Bay off the board.
 At the plate, Clairemont saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Colton Daudet, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-4.
 On Mission Bay's side,  Harold Gildehaus was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  didn't allow a single  earned run over 4.2 innings pitched.
 Clairemont's win  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 14-11-1. As for Mission Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 15-10.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clairemont will  face off against Scripps Ranch at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Scripps Ranch will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Clairemont surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mission Bay, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Coronado at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
