Centennial dropped down to 5-2 on Tuesday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They had to suffer through an 85-32 loss at the hands of the Hamilton Yankees. The matchup marked the Apaches' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

As for Hamilton, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Hamilton was led to victory by Michael Gooden and Matthew Thierry. Gooden dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards, while Thierry shot 67% from the field on his way to 19 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Gooden a new career-high in steals (four). Another player making a difference was Terroin Davis, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards.

Coming up, Centennial will take on Animo Venice at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hamilton, they will face off against West Adams at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Yankees will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
