Basketball Recap: Downtown Magnets Now 12-2 over Last 14 Games

Downtown Magnets won the last time they faced Aspire Ollin, and Justin Huang did his part to make sure it happened again. The Downtown Magnets Suns took their match on Monday with ease, bagging an 81-13 win over the Aspire Ollin Jaguars thanks in part to Huang, who went 12 for 18 on his way to 27 points and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Sean Huang, who posted nine points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Downtown Magnets has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Aspire Ollin, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Downtown Magnets will face off against USC-MAE at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Aspire Ollin, they will challenge Central City Value at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Aspire Ollin is facing Central City Value at the right time seeing as Central City Value is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
