The DeMotte Christian Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Heritage Christian Defenders at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. DeMotte Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.2 runs per game this season.
DeMotte Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Frontier 14-4. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their two-run performance the match before.
DeMotte Christian let Lili Peterson and Eva Orsburn run wild. Peterson got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Orsburn scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Allie Myers was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
