Arleta won the last time they faced King/Drew and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Golden Eagles with a sharp 8-0 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by six runs or more this season.

JUSTINE MEJIA was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That double was her first of the season. ADRIANA VASQUEZ DURAN was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

The victory got Arleta back to even at 5-5. As for King/Drew, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Arleta has already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Muir on the 29th. As for King/Drew, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Poly on the 29th.
