The Lewis Cass Kings will venture away from home to challenge the Maconaquah Braves at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Lewis Cass will be strutting in after a victory while Maconaquah will be coming in after a loss.

Lewis Cass took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Eastern, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Kings narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Comets 20-18. That looming 20-18 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Kings yet this season.

Ava Hubner was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Lynch, who went 2-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
