It was a good run, but Elmira unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 15-2 to the Scio Loggers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Falcons have suffered since April 24th.

Layla Burgess was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Elmira's loss dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Scio, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 25-1.

As of now, neither Elmira nor the Loggers have any future games scheduled.
