Football Recap: Crossland Comes Up Short on the Road Against Bishop Ireton

Crossland had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 28-7 to the Bishop Ireton Cardinals on Friday.

Crossland and Bishop Ireton will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Cavaliers see the field they'll take on Bladensburg at 7:30 p.m. on September 5. As for Bishop Ireton, their break will end when they face Our Lady of Mount Carmel at 4:30 p.m. on September 5.
