Winona is 9-1 against Century since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Winhawks will take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Winona is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Winona's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Saturday's struggle, when Albert Lea hitters got past them. The Winhawks skirted past the Tigers 11-10. That's two games straight that the Winhawks have won by just one run.

Meanwhile, Century fell victim to Mankato East and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 14-0 to the Cougars. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Winona's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Century, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Everything went Winona's way against Century in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Winona made off with a 12-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Winhawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
