Soccer Recap: Ellison Comes Up Short

Ellison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Belton Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in January.

Ellison's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Belton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ellison will square off against Waco at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belton, they will challenge Lake Belton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
