Lexington Catholic came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the West Jessamine Colts as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lexington Catholic walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-13.

Leading Lexington Catholic to victory were Maddy Warner and Finley Quinn. Warner had 11 digs, while Quinn had eight digs and one assist. That's the most digs Quinn has posted over her last five matchups.

Lexington Catholic was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.
