Baseball Recap: Sprague Takes Down Ranked Sherwood

Sprague faced Sherwood in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Olympians never let the Bowmen get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The Olympians haven't had any issues with the Bowmen recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Sprague's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Sherwood, they moved to 9-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Sprague will welcome West Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sherwood, they are taking a road trip to face off against Forest Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
