Football Game Preview: South Lamar Stallions vs. Sulligent Blue Devils + How To Watch

South Lamar hasn't had much luck against Sulligent recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Stallions will be playing at home against the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Sulligent will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: South Lamar extended their winning streak to four on Friday. The Stallions came out on top against Lynn by a score of 46-34.

South Lamar didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mason Hardin and Justin Phillips.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Sulligent, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 40-22 win over Aliceville on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won three in a row.

Sulligent now has a winning record of 5-4. As for South Lamar, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

South Lamar was dealt a bruising 42-14 loss at the hands of Sulligent when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Stallions, Aj Lowe (who rushed for 56 yards and two touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
