Soccer Game Preview: Greenville Christian Academy vs. Southside Christian

Greenville Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against Southside Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Knights will take on the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Greenville Christian Academy had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the six-goal drubbing they dealt Living Water Christian on Monday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Warriors. Kat Price was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Southside Christian waltzed into their game on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Their defense stepped up to hand the Chargers a 4-0 shutout. Southside Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Southside Christian pushed their record up to 8-2-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those six contests. As for Greenville Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Greenville Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 6-1 loss they got from Southside Christian in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
