Basketball Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends Hudson's Winning Streak

It was fun while it lasted, but Hudson's undefeated season came to an end after ten games on Saturday. They took a 59-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tolman Tigers. The contest marked the Bluehawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Hudson still got an impressive performance from Keith Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 37 points and ten rebounds. Robinson's afternoon made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Tolman's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nathan Borden, who posted 15 points and three steals. Borden is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was John Hilaire, who scored 17 points and five assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hudson fell to 10-1. As for Tolman, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Hudson has already played their next match, a 55-45 loss against Stamford on the 19th. As for Tolman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-62 defeat against Conrad Science on the 19th.
