Volleyball Recap: Legacy's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to 11

Legacy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Rangeview Raiders as the Legacy Lightning made off with a 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Legacy was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-15.

James Southern paced Legacy's offense, picking up seven kills. Southern got some help from Rafael Urbina and his 23 assists. Urbina also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Kalon Snyder, racking up two apiece.

Legacy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-0. As for Rangeview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Legacy will be playing in front of their home fans against Thomas Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Rangeview and D'Evelyn will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. D'Evelyn will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Rangeview surely won't give up without a fight.
