Marshall extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 38 on Monday, dropping their season record down to 0-19 in the process. They lost 20-2 to the Western Heights Jets. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for Western Heights, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-11. Considering they have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

For Western Heights' part, they got a massive performance out of Kole Schrock, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Schrock has become a key player for the Jets: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 9-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Bohnstedt, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Western Heights beat Marshall by a score of 15-0 later that day.
