Volleyball Game Preview: Glenns Ferry Pilots vs. Oakley Hornets + How To Watch

Glenns Ferry hasn't had much luck against Oakley recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Pilots will welcome the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Glenns Ferry will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Shoshone, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Pilots walked away with a 3-1 win over the Indians on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Pilots as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Glenns Ferry got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 30-28, 26-24, 21-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Oakley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against Valley by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won three in a row.

Oakley walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 20-25, 25-13, 25-19.

Oakley's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Glenns Ferry, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.
