Skyline skates past Pretty Prairie with ease

The Skyline Thunderbirds never got on the board in their matchup last Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against the Pretty Prairie Bulldogs on Tuesday. They blew past the Bulldogs 61-34 on the road. That looming 61-34 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Skyline yet this season.

Pretty Prairie's loss came despite strong showings from Evan Young and Christian Chandler. Young scored 16 points along with seven rebounds, while Chandler scored five points along with seven rebounds.

Pretty Prairie struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.

Skyline's win bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Pretty Prairie, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyline will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Inman on January 23rd.
