After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Johnsburg, Marengo was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Harvard Hornets 49-0. Considering the Indians have won four matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Marengo got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sam Vandello out in front who threw for 156 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes.

Marengo's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Harvard, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Marengo will venture away from home to square off against Richmond-Burton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Rockets have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests. As for Harvard, they will host Plano at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
