Softball Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside lost against Harlem back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 17-2 to the Bulldogs. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakeside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was HAYDEN ZIMMERMAN, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that ZIMMERMAN has brought in this season.

Lakeside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Harlem, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Lakeside didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-1 victory against Lincoln County on the 18th. As for Harlem, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-6 win against Grovetown on the 14th.
