WPIAL AAA Parkway recap September 10, 2013
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Hopewell, who took down 193rd ranked Hopewell, 34-14.
Chartiers Valley moved up to 282 from 379 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in WPIAL AAA Parkway. The Colts were able to make move up by topping the Vikings 34-14.
Nate Climo put up the best numbers in passing as Central Valley defeated Montour. He had a total of 5 completions for 58 yards. Climo's favorite target this week was Preston Johnson, who caught 2 passes for 24 yards.
Tyler Ishman was the best running back in the league this week. In 29 carries, he ran for 114 yards as Hopewell lost to Chartiers Valley. Teammate Spencer Levinger added to the ground attack by rushing for 54 yards.
Ishman provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Dave Vestal's team fell to Neil Loebig's team. Ishman's key target this week was Bufalini, who caught 3 passes for 63 yards.
Bufalini was the best receiver in the league this week as the Vikings lost to the Colts.
The top two teams in WPIAL AAA Parkway will face off this week when first place West Allegheny takes on second place Moon Area.
The Warriors were able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating the Spartans. Central Valley came in at 22 in the state poll after placing at number 40 last week.
