The Fairless Falcons will head out on the road to take on the Canton South Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Fairless is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
Fairless can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. Everything went their way against Rittman as Fairless made off with a 13-3 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Fairless needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.
Madison Barkan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Barkan has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. Barkan was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI.
In other batting news, Fairless let Hannah Smith and Kresle Eberly loose on the outfield.
