Volleyball Game Preview: Norwalk Truckers vs. Perkins Pirates

The Norwalk Truckers will venture away from home to take on the Perkins Pirates at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Saturday, Norwalk came up short against Lexington and fell 2-0.

Norwalk was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Perkins also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Ross by a score of 3-1. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Little Giants recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 22-25, 25-20.

Perkins' defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Norwalk, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Norwalk took their win against Perkins in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Truckers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
