Round Rock is a perfect 3-0 against Hutto since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Dragons will head out to face off against the Hippos at 7:00 p.m. Round Rock will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Round Rock's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Manor to the tune of 63-0. That looming 63-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Dragons yet this season.

Meanwhile, Hutto entered their tilt with Round Rock Westwood on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They strolled past the Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 34-18. Given the Hippos' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Warriors are ranked 341st) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hutto's win came from a few key players Round Rock will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Keilan Chavies, who picked up 78 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 53 yards and one score. Kaden Stefek was another key player, throwing for 161 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.

Hutto didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hunter Frenette and Carlos Sorto. Frenette is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made seven or more in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season. Another thorn in Round Rock Westwood's side was Brayden Daniel, who forced one fumble and made 14 total tackles.

The victory got Round Rock back to even at 3-3. As for Hutto, their record is now 4-1.

Round Rock strolled past Hutto in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 29-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
