It's playoff time, and Vacaville Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Valley Christian Lions on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Falcons as they're now sitting on four straight.

Zachary Romeo made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aiden Stevens, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Vacaville Christian's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Valley Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-7.

As of now, neither Vacaville Christian nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
