Upson-Lee gave up the first goal on Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They won by a goal and slipped past the Locust Grove Wildcats 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Wildcats last Friday, they had to take a 0-0 defeat.

Georgia-Gale Hammock and Reese Streetman scored both of Upson-Lee's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Upson-Lee and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Locust Grove, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Upson-Lee wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Central on the 21st. As for Locust Grove, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Locust Grove take on the Trinity Christian at 5:30 p.m. on February 24th. Locust Grove's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Trinity Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
